Studio Prineas

Mandaang Guwu; We are thankful.

Studio Prineas has been on a journey of learning and searching for a way to meaningfully connect with Country for some years now – and this special project for an even more special client on 100 hectares in Wiradjuri Country, presented the perfect opportunity to commence a project with respect to Country first. Over a long weekend, we listened to and walked on Country with Wiradjuri Elder Craig McConnell, hearing the history of this ancient place and discussing the opportunities for siting our client’s new home. His dear friend Sharon Winsor of Indigearth cooked us an unforgetable 5 course meal at Huntington Estate using her skill and knowledge of native ingredients and kept us mesmermised with stories of her past between each course. A very special way to connect as a team as the new year commences and to connect to the place where we are now working. We are ready to begin.
