Terrace Young

Terrace Young was a typical attached terrace – narrow, dark and cold. The main focus of the project was to open up the core spaces to bring in natural light. A ‘lantern’ skylight above the kitchen now shines sunlight deep into the building. The new full height doors and repositioned bathroom on the ground floor creates a breathable living space. It brings the best of the outdoors inside and doubles as a carport. The bedroom suite upstairs incorporates a new walk-in robe, study nook and ensuite. Each corner is maximized while maintaining a links to the outside views. The terrace now has a sunny place for gathering friends and family in a naturally lit environment.
